Based in Vancouver and working between British Columbia and the Poitevin Marshes in France. Working with documentary media and archives, as well as European and North American painting and photography.

My work revolves essentially around the question of home territory between the rural spaces where I come from and the North American spaces here in British Columbia. And how these two territories can at certain moments intersect and converge.

How the geographical truth of those places can be displaced and tinged with fiction to bring stories to the surface in the cracks of daily life, where fiction is the submerged foundation of commonplaces. and how the uncanny can take hold of familiar spaces, leaving doors half-open to the irrational in the hope that a slip will occur in the reality, much like urban legends, blurring the boundaries of events, where documentary and fiction meet.
